Slipping over the last few years
We have been going to Frantoio since it opened, for cozy dinners, hanging out with friends and large gatherings. The service continues to be good but the quality of the food has diminished. Not sure if it is change of ownership or some other issue.

I was at Frantoio for Mother's Day. I was disappointed that they had a limited menu, and no pizza (which I really wanted). The service was OK, and the beet salad and calamari quite good. However, my main course, the gnocci with ragu, was really disappointing, in fact, quite terrible. It kind of ruined the meal.

Nice italian restaurant, not crowded at all. Lots of menu choices. I ordered the special with sausage and pasta and substituted for gluten free pasta. When my order came it was a pasta with a pesto sauce and chicken. Totally not what i ordered but thankfully it was still delicious.

This place is really someplace between 3-4 stars... It is better then the chain restaurants like the steaming turd that is Piatti in Strawberry but it also is a few steps away from being really excellent. Definitely worth a visit and the food is fairly good... just not great!

Don't go on a holiday such as Valentine's Day. The menu was pared down and very small. I found it hard to find something I really wanted. Also, I dislike squash and asked for another green veg that they definitely had. I was told that because it was a busy night, there were no substitutions. Consequently, I left actually hungry.
